This year I turn the big 28. I'm so excited to do something amazing this year. I've chosen to do something that will better my life and the world around me, "live frugal" for one year and hopefully it will become a habit. I've been telling friends here and there about my idea and question everyone has for me is, "what does frugal mean?" It means smarter money management, stretching every cent out to its fullest potential. Erin Huffstetler, About.com Guide, states "Frugal living unlocks a world of possibilities...it’s about determining what you want out of your life, and finding a way to make it happen."
I'm ready to unlock the possibilities and share the tips that I learn with you. Hopefully we will all benefit from this transformation.
One of the greatest tools in my journey will be the internet. The internet allows access to a wealth of information. There are tons of websites on how to live frugal and tips on ways to save.
The first step is deciding what I want to save for and creating a budget that gets me there. Here are a few websites about creating a budget.
